Pets must be at least 2lbs and under 80lbs, as well as under 5 years old for spay and neuter surgery.

If TCAP’s veterinarian determines a patient does not meet the minimum health requirements for services, the patient will be declined to ensure the patient’s health.

Furthermore, due to special diagnostic and anesthetic needs, TCAP does not perform surgery or dental cleanings on blind or deaf pets, English Bulldogs, Olde English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, or any mixes of these breeds. TCAP does not perform surgery on Persian Cats or their mixes.

This declination of service is for a pet’s well-being and all patients listed above are referred to local, full-service hospitals for care.
