At TCAP it is our top priority to ensure that all who come into our clinic, two-legged and four, are happy and healthy. Due to increasing concerns about the spread of COVID-19, we are enacting extra precautions to ensure that we can continue providing our low-cost services while keeping everyone as safe as possible.

Effective immediately, TCAP will only allow one person per pet in our lobby areas. Additional family members will be asked to wait outside or wait in the car.

In the interest of protecting our senior clients, TCAP’s Wednesday evening (Hurst) and Thursday evening (Denton) clinics will open 30 minutes early and give service priority to seniors over the age of 60 for the first half-hour (5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.). Our Saturday vaccine events, that take place at different locations each weekend, will also feature senior service hours (9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.). Find a complete list of all our vaccine events here. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to protect both pets and their owners.

We are implementing social distancing in all of our clinics. Because of this, we are only allowing 10 clients to be in line at a time for vaccines or surgery check-in. The area where clients line up will be marked with the appropriate 6-foot distance to ensure that we are maintaining social distancing. Any additional clients will be given a number and asked to wait in the car until it is their turn to line up. We appreciate your understanding and help to keep TCAP a safe place for everyone during this time.

Additional ways you can help keep TCAP clinics a safe place for everyone:

  • Stand at least 6 feet away from others in the line.
  • Thoroughly washing your hands before and after visiting a TCAP location.
  • Printing and filling out your paperwork online or bringing your own pen to use on your paperwork.
